    Released in 2018, just over a year after Humanz, Gorillaz’ sixth studio album The Now Now saw the band take it back to the core creative crew (minus an “indisposed” Murdoc Niccals) for these “11 pop tracks that zip with energy, passion and an abundance of ideas.” [NME].
     
    The album features just a handful of special guests including Jamie Principle and the return of Snoop Dogg. First track ‘Humility’ featuring George Benson arrived with a sun-drenched new video directed by Jamie Hewlett, starring a roller-skating 2D and a busking Jack Black, filmed entirely in Venice Beach, California. The shimmering electro-pop of The Now Now possesses a warm, psychedelic vibe that has made it a cult favourite amongst fans.
